COVID Protocol Update – StonehamBank Locations

May 28, 2021

Your StonehamBank in branch experience is changing. We continue to closely monitor guidance from the state, local and national health authorities and have updated our COVID protocols to adhere to the most effective health and safety standards.

Effective Saturday, May 29th 2021 we are changing COVID protocols at all StonehamBank Locations.

  • Use of Face Coverings: It is our responsibility to protect you, and we are committed to meeting all public health requirements. With widespread vaccine availability and the ongoing progress against COVID-19 the State of Massachusetts and Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is now recommending that mask mandates be relaxed for people who have been fully vaccinated. Face coverings will be optional for vaccinated customers beginning Saturday, May 29th at both StonehamBank locations. We request those customers who are not vaccinated to continue to wear a mask for the protection of other customers as well as our employees. We will not require proof of vaccination, but we ask for customers’ respectful cooperation with this revised policy.
  • Social Distancing: We will continue to encourage social distancing. Plexiglass barriers will remain in branch offices to maintain a healthy distance between customers and employees of the Bank.
  • Enhanced cleaning measures: The Bank will continue to perform elevated cleaning and sanitizing protocols that meet public health guidelines to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
