StonehamBank Senior Vice President Shane Bellavance recently announced the appointment of Judith Cronin to the position of Residential Mortgage Originator effective immediately.

Ms. Cronin has been a valued member of the StonehamBank team since 2010, fulfilling multiple roles in the lending department including Mortgage Processor and Loan Closer. She has extensive knowledge on many aspects of residential lending and joins a team of originators who successfully provided customers with nearly 800 home loans totaling more than $185 million during fiscal 2013.

“We are very excited that Judy chose to accept the position of Mortgage Originator at StonehamBank,” says Bellavance. “Her experience and skill set made her a perfect choice for the position. We frequently receive compliments about the excellent service Judy provides to our customers and this is a role where her knowledge and customer service skills will benefit our mission of being a reliable and trusted source for home financing. Anyone who has the pleasure of knowing Judy knows that she is truly a “people-person.”

In addition to her day-to-day work, Ms. Cronin has given numerous volunteer hours at StonehamBank, focusing on community service with groups such as The Stoneham Theatre, H.O.T. and Community Town Days. Ms. Cronin and her family reside in Andover, where they have lived for over 30 years. She enjoys cooking, photography, archery and snowboarding.

“I am very pleased to be joining the origination team at StonehamBank as a Mortgage Officer. I have developed a deep understanding of the mortgage products and lending procedures offered at StonehamBank in my position as Closing Coordinator at the bank for the past three years. However, I began my mortgage career in Andover as an originator so returning to this role is like coming home to me. I look forward to helping our customers find the best mortgage program that will fulfill their needs, and to using my years of experience to simplify and expedite the lending process. “
