StonehamBank Welcomes Greg D'Antona

GREGORY D’ANTONA JOINS STONEHAMBANK TEAM

Stoneham, MA  - StonehamBank Risk Management Officer Kathleen Conary announced the hiring of Gregory D’Antona as a Risk Management Manager, effective February 3, 2015.

“We are excited with the addition of Greg D’Antona to the Risk Management team,” notes Conary.  “Greg’s experience in audit, BSA and Compliance will bring depth to the department which is responsible in overseeing the Risk, Compliance and Audit functions of StonehamBank.  He will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the risk management program, which strengthens the Bank’s internal procedures and allows StonehamBank to better serve the needs of our communities.”

Mr. D’Antona is a graduate of Stonehill College, where he majored in Finance and minored in Computer Information Systems and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.  He is also a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and a licensed real estate broker. His most recent position prior to starting at StonehamBank was at National Grand Bank in Marblehead, where he was the bank’s Compliance / BSA Officer.

Mr. D’Antona resides in Swampscott with his family and is a volunteer on the town’s Finance Committee and an active member of the Freemasons and Shriners organizations.
